ROY WHITE TO APPEAR AT COVE HAVEN RESORT ON DECEMBER 4

LAKEVILLE, PA – Cove Haven Entertainment Resorts presents two-time Yankees World Series Champ, Roy White to do a meet/greet and book signing at Cove Haven on December 4 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Roy White, a former Major League Baseball switch-hitting outfielder, played his entire career for the New York Yankees between 1965 and 1979. He led the American League in runs scored in 1976 and in walks in 1972, and played on two World Series champions in 1977-78 and an American League pennant winning team in 1976.

After retiring from the baseball in 1979, White spent three seasons playing for the Tokyo Giants in Japan, and later served as a Yankees coach. Recently, White established The Roy White Foundation, a charity aimed to assist children and young adults in the New York area who would like to attend college, but do not have the financial means to do so.
