LAKEVILLE, PA – Cove Haven Entertainment Resorts announce The World Comedy Show on May 29th at Paradise Stream Resort in Mount Pocono, PA, May 29th at Pocono Palace in Marshalls Creek, PA and May 30th at Cove Haven Resort in Lakeville, PA. The shows begin at 8:00 p.m. at all properties.

The World Comedy Show features the comedy of Shawn Cornelius, Exiene Lofgren, RC Smith and Alycia Cooper. Tickets for the shows are part of the all-inclusive overnight packages at all three Cove Haven Entertainment Resort properties.

Based in New York City, Shawn Cornelisu is both comedian and actor. He has also appeared in numerous theatrical productions and hosted an international cable show called "On the Scene." Shawn was featured in the 2007 film called "Hunting for Seinfeld’s," portraying the "Kings of Comedy" star, Cedric the Entertainer.

Since moving to NYC in 1999 (preparing a new start for a new century), Exiene Lofgren has toured the country, the UK, Europe, and Dubai with standup comedy. He’s also been featured on Sirius’ "Raw Dawg" channel, "Rikki Lake" (as a comic), jamnow.com, and "The Radio Chick." Exiene received four stars from Time Out Magazine for his one-man show, "BE A MAN!!!" in the 2009 New York Fringe Festival.

RC Smith is known in the television industry as one of the best warm-up men in the business. RC is currently working with the "The Rachael Ray Show " and has also warmed up for " The Colbert Report, " "The Tony Danza Show," Who Wants to be a Millionaire?," "The Caroline Rhea Show," "Ricki Lake," and NBC's " Clash of the Choirs." RC headlines all around the country and Canada and is a regular on a handful of 50,000-watt radio stations around the country, a testament to his adaptability, likability, and creativity.

Currently on a headlining national tour, Alycia Cooper is a force to be reckoned with. Alycia was recently featured as the first female comic to perform on Oscar winner Mo'Nique's “The Mo’Nique Show.” She has been featured on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent,” "BET's Comicview," Comedy Central's "Wanda Does It," “Byron Allen’s Comics Unleashed,” several VH-1 clips shows and BET's "Oh Drama." She has written for "The Steve Harvey Morning Show," Russell Simmons' "One World Music Beat," and UPN’s hit sitcom, “The Parkers.” She is the first female audience “warm-up” for several sitcoms; including "The Parkers," “Girlfriends,” “Wanda at Large,” and “The Tyra Banks Show.”
