LAKEVILLE, PA –Cove Haven Resort announced today that country star Billy Ray Cyrus will perform his hits live on Thursday, August 13, 2009 at the Lakeville, PA couples-only, All-Inclusive property. The evening’s entertainment will begin at 8:30.

A Grammy Award-nominated country music singer, songwriter and actor, Billy Ray Cyrus’s credits range from an appearance on Dancing with the Stars, to hosting reality talent search Nashville Star, to releasing 28 charted singles and 11 studio albums—one of which is certified nine times muli-platinum. His 1992 single “Achy Breaky Heart” was number one on the Billboard charts for five weeks and the album that featured the hit single, Some Gave All, sold nine million copies in the U.S. and more than 20 million copies worldwide.

More recently Cyrus has been filming the hit Disney show, Hannah Montana, where he plays the father to the show’s teenage star and real-life daughter, Miley Cyrus. Together, Billy Ray and Miley have performed at the Kids Inaugural Event, presented "Song of the Year" award at the 42nd Annual Country Music Association Awards and recorded the duet “Ready, Set, Don’t Go” in 2008. Billy Ray’s latest album, Back to Tennessee was release on April 7, 2009.
