CAESARS POCONO RESORTS EMPLOYEES RECOGNIZED WITH TOURISM ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS

LAKEVILLE, PA – Caesars Pocono Resorts announced today that resort employees Ceil Termini and ‘Honest’ Phil Policare have received 2009 Tourism Achievement Awards in honor of their dedication and hard work. Awarded by the Pocono Mountain Visitors Bureau, Ceil Termini, Travel Planning Specialist, has been named Outstanding Tourism Employee of the Year and CXO (Chief eXcitement Officer) ‘Honest’ Phil Policare has been given the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Travel Planning Specialist Ceil Termini has worked at Caesars Pocono Resorts for almost 29 years. Since joining the resorts in 1980, Termini has performed several roles including housekeeping, financial management and her current role in the Customer Contact Center.

In 1993, Termini received the Caesars Pocono Resorts Martha Coccodrilli Award, an honor given to team members that exhibit excellent work habits above and beyond typical job responsibilities and place the experiences of our guests as top priority. Since joining the Customer Contact Center in 2004, she has earned numerous award designations including the Sales Achievement Award. In 2006, Termini received the company’s Top Revenue Producer Award selling over $1.4 million in suite reservations.

A 36 year veteran of Caesars Pocono Resorts, CXO (Chief eXcitement Officer) ‘Honest’ Phil Policare has entertained thousands of resort guests with activities ranging from bingo to deer feeding to paint-balling and more. Serving as the MC of many special on-property events, ‘Honest’ Phil goes above and beyond typical hosting responsibilities by forging connections with guests, helping to ensure that each couple who visits Caesars Pocono Resorts has a romantic and exciting experience.

At least half of all completed guest comment cards include positive feedback regarding ‘Honest’ Phil and how he enhanced their stay. Many couples even call ahead for Phil’s schedule to ensure that he’ll be available during their getaway. If he’s expected to be off-property, many wait to book their vacation.
