Spa Coronavirus Procedures and Precautions

In response to complications from Covid-19, we’ve taken steps to ensure the safety of our guests and our staff. We are looking forward to reopening the spa at each resort in due time.
 
Please note the locations of spas for each location below: If you have scheduled at the wrong location please contact us at 570-424-0550.
 
COVE HAVEN – Reopening date TBD – The Spa is located in the building at the end of Lover’s Lane and Honest Phil Circle. The rooms are straight ahead of you when entering the building from the front.
 

PARADISE STREAM – Currently open and located inside the Gift Shop.

POCONO PALACE – Currently open and located at Room 501 next to the Champagne Tower Suites.

Please read the below information regarding the execution of spa services at any of our locations.
 
“I understand that close contact with people increases the risk of infection from COVID-19. By accepting this appointment I acknowledge that I am aware of the risks involved and give consent to receive a massage from this practitioner.”
 
“I understand that my name and contact information might be shared with the state health department in the event that a client or practitioner at this facility tests positive for COVID-19. My contact details will only be shared in the event they are relevant based on suspected exposure date, and only for appropriate follow-up by the health department.”
 
FOR THE PROTECTION OF ALL:
 
PA state laws require clients and a licensed massage therapist to wear a face mask at all times during treatment and promote physical distancing of at least 6 feet when not providing a service. You will need to have your own mask to enter
the spa to receive your service. Your mask must remain on for your entire service. If you remove your mask during the service we must stop the service – you will be charged for the entire service.
 
If you have had any of the following symptoms in the past 2 weeks we will need to cancel your service. If you start to experience any of the following symptoms, please let us know ASAP so we can work on rescheduling your appointment for
a future date. You may reach us at 570-424-0550; we encourage you to leave a voicemail if we do not answer.
 
Have you been in places with a high infection rate within the last two weeks (e.g., state-designated “hotspots”)?
 
Are you experiencing any of the following as a NEW PATTERN since the beginning of the pandemic:
  • Fever
  • Chills
  • Cough
  • Sore throat
  • Diarrhea, digestive upset
  • Nasal, sinus congestion
  • Loss of sense of taste or smell
  • Fatigue
  • Shortness of breath
  • Sudden onset of muscle soreness (not related to a specific activity)
  • Rash or skin lesions (especially on the feet)
 
Do you have any new discomfort with exertion or exercise?
 
I declare that the information provided above is not a current concern to the best of my knowledge when accepting this appointment booking.
 
If anything changes prior to my scheduled appointment I will notify the spa immediately to cancel my services. CHC will apply a COVID-19 / 24-hour cancellation policy waiver in the case of any symptoms the day of service. My card will be fully refunded.
 
Thank you for your understanding in a time of serious health concerns. We have implemented all PA state and Federal CDC protocol. We will provide a limited menu of service to allow you to relax while feeling confident you are in good hands. It is advised to use hand sanitizer pre and post service.
